We are located on Route 7 in Pittsford, Vermont. From I-87, take Exit 20 to Route 149 East to U.S. Route 4 East, to U.S. Route 7 North to Pittsford. We are located just north of the village on the right.

From I-89, Exit 1 in Vermont to U.S. Route 4 West, to Route 7 North to Pittsford. We are located on the right just north of the village.

As an added attraction, the museum is set in the historic farm village of Pittsford, home to four 150 year old covered bridges. In addition to having one of Vermonts' fish hatcheries, Pittsford is the location of the first US patent.

In John Steinbeck's novel "To a God Unknown", the main character, Joseph Wayne, left his rocky hill farm in Pittsford for the fertile valleys of Central California.
